Say~, but, really, phone is great. This is the cell phone era. Ne. Remember the old, black stocky phone? The one, that you dial by hand. I used to have one of that at home.

Cell phone too, really, why is it so irritating when you have bad connection, you know. I often get voice mails, and only the important part has bad signals. Like for example, “you need to come in tomorrow at xxxx” (laugh) I repeatedly try the message at times like that, don’t you. After trying it about three times, I’m like, “bad connection after all.” Yes.

Well, but, for this show, I made a huge graffiti art. It’s 3 meters high by 6 meters wide. That, I was thinking “I’d like to deliberate it shutting myself up for about a month,“ however, I was told “there’s no such time.” Yes. I thought “then may be in a week or so,” but I was told “three days!” I was like “three days?!” I just had to do it since it was already decided. Yes. I finished it in three days. Yes. It was great. That was my first work of the year. Yes.

A trend of grownups purchasing a whole collection of comic books and paperbacks, that they struggled to collect in their childhood, at once, so-called “Otona-gai” (adult spending), is spreading out.

An used-book store franchise, Book-Off Cooperation, has set up Otona-gai section on their website to take large orders on sets of popular comic books.
Shinchosha publisher started new online sales of their recommended paperbacks as “the 100 selection of Shinchosha” since last year.

Hah~. Comics, guys.
For a while I, there was a time I wanted to become a comic artist. Yes. It was around when I was in the fourth grade. Or was it fifth grade? Yeah.

At that time, I was brought about “let me try a 4-koma manga (4 panel comic strip consisting of introduction, development, twist and bottom line of the story)” and I drew. Then a miracle happened, it became five paneled. Moreover, there was no bottom line. Yes. “I am not apt for this!” I thought. Yes.
Also, I had tried regular comic stories but they all end at where you go “what comes next.” Yes. I have, exceptionally low taste in it. (laugh) Yes.

Accordingly, I wished for a while that I’d paid better attention in Japanese classes. But now, I may be able to come up with story lines, so recently I’ve been thinking of working on a comic story at home again. I would like to show it to you someday.

Microsoft Corporation of America developed a system called “Media Cart” to assist your grocery shopping at supermarkets. They will launch the trial during this year.
The Media Carts read the shopping lists you create at home, and display them on their monitors. When you pick up and scan the items on the screen, the item gets automatically crossed out from the list and the total amount appears.
Further more, since you pay on the spot, this system will eliminate the waiting line for the cashers.
Huh~. Are you shopping lately? Ne!
Me? If you ask about me, I have been shopping. To tell you what I bought lately, are fishing supplies. Yes. I haven’t been buying anything else. Yeah.

Let’s say, my fishing line broke, or the device falls apart. Then if other fishers are catching, I feel like “why are they biting at every cast when I am fixing my tool”. So if I had an extra pole, I don’t have to miss the biting rush.

Have you ever felt this way? That wine tastes more superb after hearing it is an expensive wine?
California Institute of Technology in the U.S. had an experiment to prove that people’s perception is affected by the informed price of the wine.
They studied the cerebral activities of 20 participants sampling the same wine marked as the actual price and lower than the actual price.
They found, the area of the brain stimulated by pleasure such as taste is activated more when people tasted the wine labeled expensive regardless of the actual price.
Ah-, splendid. Well well, it is so true. Yeah. A matter of conception takes a role. Yeah.

Koalas usually have brown eyes. The zookeeper expressed his surprise by saying “I could not believe my eyes when I first saw it,” and the Australian Koala foundation states that blue-eyed koala had never been reported before in their history of 20 years.

This koala’s parents are both brown-eyed, and the specialists are speculating a case of genetic mutation causing the blue eyes.

Huh-, such things are possible, aren’t they. Well well, wouldn’t you like to see it. Yeah.
